Google Business Profile
Google Business Profile setup and optimization.
Help customers understand your business when they find it on Google Search or Maps. We review your profile, fix incomplete or outdated information, and connect the listing to a clear next step on your website.
We help eligible businesses review ownership, choose accurate categories, complete their information and set up a review request process. You retain ownership. Google controls verification, feature availability and how the profile appears.
First, check whether your business is eligible
A Business Profile is intended for businesses that meet customers in person, at a genuine location or at the customer's location. Online-only businesses are not eligible. We check the Google business representation guidelines before recommending a new listing.
Then make the profile useful to a customer
A person comparing options needs accurate services, hours, photos and a way to contact you. We review the information against your website and how the business actually operates. For a contractor, that includes service coverage; for a practice, it includes the right appointment destination.
Ownership and verification
If a listing already exists, we check access before creating another. Google may require evidence or owner actions to verify the business. We can guide the process, but cannot promise approval or a fixed verification timeline.
Categories and services
Categories should describe the real business. Services should explain what you offer without turning the profile into a list of search phrases. A roofing company, accounting office and salon need different information because their customers make different decisions.
Real photos and honest reviews
Use photos you have permission to publish and a simple request for genuine feedback. Our review-request guide explains a repeatable approach without incentives or selective invitations.
Profile optimization and local SEO
Profile work is one part of local SEO. Your service pages, contact journey and public business information matter too. A complete profile does not guarantee first place, and the website still needs to answer the questions the listing cannot.
Use the step-by-step profile guide if you prefer to work through it yourself, or the Maps troubleshooting article if the listing is missing.
What’s included
What we do to the profile.
Your scope confirms the profile work needed. Some changes require owner access or a response from Google, so we identify those dependencies early.
- Claim and verificationIncluding the awkward cases: a profile someone else claimed, a duplicate listing, a business that moved, or a verification postcard that never arrived.
- Category strategyPrimary and supporting categories chosen to describe the real business accurately. We review relevance without promising a ranking change.
- Complete business informationAccurate business name, contact information and operating details. Relevant hours, attributes and service areas reviewed against the real business.
- Services and products, with pricesEvery service listed and described. Published prices where it makes sense, because it filters out the wrong enquiries before they reach you.
- A description written for people750 characters that read like a human wrote them, with your actual terms in them because that is what people search for.
- Photo set and a refresh planWe work through what you have, tell you what is missing, and set a simple rhythm so the profile does not go stale in three months.
- Review generation systemA neutral invitation for genuine customer feedback, with a tested link or QR option. No incentives or screening for positive responses.
- Posts and ongoing useAvailable posting features used for relevant updates, with current information and working destination links. Posting is not a guaranteed ranking lever.

What it costs
Included in your agreed scope.
We do not sell this on its own, because a profile pointing at a bad website leaks most of what it earns you.

Google Business Profile work is part of both the Storefront Launch and the Authority Launch, valued at $400 and $250 respectively on the offer page, and included in the fixed price. If you already have a website you are happy with and genuinely only need the profile fixed, say so on the call. It is a smaller piece of work and we will price it as one rather than pretending you need the whole package.

Questions
Questions about the profile.
I already have a profile. What would you check?
We review access, business details, categories, services, photos and the website or booking link. If the profile is already useful and accurate, we can focus the scope on other gaps.
Can I have a profile without a storefront?
A business that visits customers in person may qualify as a service-area business. A business operating only online does not. We check eligibility and the appropriate address setup before suggesting a listing.
Can you guarantee verification or a top map position?
No. Google controls verification and ranking. We help prepare accurate information and guide required owner actions, but cannot guarantee approval, timing or placement.
Do I keep ownership of the profile?
Yes. The business should retain ownership and grant the access needed for the agreed work. We do not make your listing dependent on an account you cannot control.
